The PXA270M DIMM Module represents the second generation of the
successful PXA270 DIMM Module, utilizing OneNAND FLASH memory chip that
allows higher data transfer rate and increases the maximum FLASH size
up to 256MB. This tiny SODIMM sized 200pin board belongs to the
group of COM - Computer On Module and is based on the Intel/Marvell XScale® ARM® PXA270M
processor. The module, with the core processor running at
312/416/520MHz, has been designed for high-performance and low power
consumption passive-cooled embedded systems. The module is
manufactured in three standard configurations, however, can be
supplied in a number of others for no extra charge (10+ pcs). It is
equipped with AC97
Audio codec with touch screen support, and 100Mbit Ethernet chip. The
processor itself supports a number of interfaces such as PCMCIA/CF,
MMC/SD, UARTs, IrDA, SSP, USB2.0 OTG Host/Device,
I2C, active and passive LCD displays with maximum resolution of
1024x768 pixels, and many more. The module is available with Linux 2.6
preinstalled. The WinCE6.0 BSP is available for free download at the
Downloads section. For outdoor applications, PXA270M DIMM Module is
available also in the extended temperature range (except the Ethernet).For batches exceeding 100pcs, Voipac
provides free service of the customer's own boot loader preloading prior to the
order dispatch. Flexibility of the second source The Voipac PXA270M
DIMM Modules are compatible with the Toradex'es Colibri and the Keith
& Koep's Trizeps III / IV family of modules.
