Voipac Technologies a.s. has been established in the year 1996 bearing the name LEVI Systems, s.r.o. Since its birth, it has been focused at providing services in the information technology and telecommunication industry.

In the year 1997 company's business activities in IT and telecommunication industry were transformed to a separate joint-stock company named LEVI Systems. Since 1997, the company has been recording continuous growth in revenues, number of projects and employees. During 6 years of existence, we had successfully achieved many goals in the form of dozens of realized projects, especially in the German market. We served many distinguished clients, such as Siemens AG, Lucent Technologies, Ericsson Eurolab, Volkswagen AG, Nokia Networks, T-Systems, Deutsche Post, Robert Bosch, Lufthansa Systems and many others. Revenues of LEVI Systems group were more than 300 mil. SKK in the year 2001.

In summer 2001, independent Voice over IP product development division was formed within LEVI Systems. Team of twenty developers, who used to work on international projects, began development of a wide scale of products ranging from Public IP exchange - Softswitch, through digital ISDN VoIP gateways up to VoIP terminal equipment, such as USB Phone, PC Phone, IP Phone, etc. One year later, when development proved to be successful, stockholders of LEVI Systems corp. decided to transform the division into a new company. Thus, company Voipac, s.r.o. has been established in summer 2002. The company is involved in further development, production and sales of VoIP products. In addition, since November 2002, the company has started the first public telecommunication service based on voice transmission over Internet in Slovak and Czech Republic. The given to the service is fayn. Fayn service has been introduced at Invex 2002 international exhibition in Brno, Czech Republic, for the very first time. It attracted attention of professional as well as general public. Companies and home users have found fayn service very appealing. Its success can be documented by the fact that only during the exhibition, more than 8000 calls to other telecommunication networks have been made by the exhibition visitors. The calls have been made from 8 computers equipped with Voipac USB Phones and SW Fayn PC Phone connected via 128 kbs ISDN line to the Internet.

Quality of our products has been proved by the fayn service nomination to Crystal Disc 2002 prestige award and by many appreciations and articles that have been published in magazines and journals ever since.

Since 2004, we have broadened our orientation to other sectors of the industry. We gained new projects in the area of embedded systems and have became a partner of Intel in the field of xSCALE products. Overall we managed to finish and hand over a number of boards build on the PXA255 platform. Nowadays, we are one of the important design houses in the region for the field of embedded applications and turnkey solutions.

In 2004 we began to work on a Car PC project - multimedia and navigation system aimed for the automotive sector. This movement grant us an access to the lucrative markets of automotive technologies, whose share of the economy in the region is increasing.

In February 2006, all the business activities of Voipac, s.r.o. has been transformed to a joint stock company VOIPAC TECHNOLOGIES a.s.
