7. 10. 2004 - Car PC project begining


Due to  increased interest of public as well as automotive industry in the field of board multimedia systems with integrated navigation, Voipac, s.r.o.. decided to invest into development of its own product for this market segment.

 

 

The project, unlike the currently available products, is a complex one DIN solution with the following features:

 

- DVD/CD player
- MP3 player

- FM tuner

- TV tuner (analog/DVB-T)

- Powerfull GPS

   navigation system

- GPRS (optional)

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The whole solution will be designed  on an x86 platform  with the frequency of 600MHz-1GHz. Embedded Linux adjusted by Voipac will be used as an operation system.
