This board development has been a customer-driven project designed

according to the client's requirements, who is a WIFI Internet provider in the

Czech Republic region. Before the completion of the board development, there

have been Voipac µPC Boards used by the Internet providing company as a

small routers from the internal network of the user to the WLAN network. In

this case, there has been WLAN access points from other suppliers used.

Voipac has achieved an integration of the access point and router to one

device for a reasonable price, what allowed its usage for this network.

Currently, there are few dozens access points on WLAN Board in operation

and their number will soon grow. The SW is build on the core of Linux 2.6.7

and allows useage of all necessary applications and functions without which

the operation of the larger WLAN network could not be safe.
