This multi-purpose development board has been designed as a mother board

for the PXA270 DIMM Module. It does not only provide a flexible

development environment necessary to explore the full functionality of the

PXA270 DIMM Module but when supplied with Module and 2.5" HDD, serves

as a baseboard of the adapter powered PXA270 EMBEDDED PC containing

all the standard PC peripheries.

The board provides an analog VGA connector for direct connectivity of

passive and active LCDs with 4-wire resistive touch screens, supporting

maximum resolution of 1024x768 pixels / 65536 colors in a 16 bit mode.

Keyboard and mouse can be connected through PS2 connectors or USB

It further includes Audio input and output, reset buttons, outlet of a PCMCIA

interface, MMC/SD card and Compact Flash.

The PXA270 DIMM base board has on board 5V switching power supply with

input voltage ranging from 7V to 37V. Maximum output current of the

regulator is 3A thus limiting baseboard, module and all connected

peripherals to 15W maximum power consumption. The base board also

provides configurable switches, buttons, GPIO pins and LED for user friendly

interaction thus simplifying programming of one own applications.

- 1x PCMCIA socket
- 1x Compact Flash socket
- 1x MMC/SD card socket
- 1x DDR1 2.5V SODIMM 200pin socket
- 1x JTAG (board-to-board pitch compression connector)
- 1x RESET push button
- 1x USER push button (GPIO1)
- 1x Power jack 5.5/2.1mm
- 3x LED HOLDER stacked
