ISDN Gateway

Assignment: Our goal has been to build a device which is capable of connecting ISDN phone calls to the VoIP protocol H.323 and vice versa, calls from the IP network H.323 protocol connecting to ISDN line of the PSTN network.

Solution: Our developers have made a research of the appropriate HW and SW platforms, that could be used for the given device. Based on our experiences with the PXA255, we decided to build the device on this processor. Cologne chips has been used as an interface with the ISDN and Linux as an operation system. The total volume of work on this project has been 4 months, and the device has been handed to a customer together with two functional prototypes.

Realization time: 4 months
