Development Kit PXA255
Assignment: Our task has been to design a development kit, to be used by the hardware and software developers working with the PXA255 platform. The kit was supposed to include a base board with the basic peripheries and interfaces integrated, PXA255 DIMM module, booth loader, JTAG, OS Linux + related drivers managing the embedded peripheries.
Solution: The assigned development team designed and routed the base board for the module, prepared the necessary software and peripheral components of the Development kit. Developed the related documentation, manual and software support for the developers. The web site, allowing developers that has purchased the Development kit to download additional information and updates, has been prepared. The whole project has been managed very successfully and there have been dozens of satisfied customers who purchased the development kit during the three-year-period. These days, there is a whole range of interesting devices and application build on Voipac DIMM modules and there are still many to come.
