Projects / DVB-T Set Top Box
   

DVB-T Set Top Box

Assignment: The client required an analysis of the chipsets currently available on the market from the price and functionality point of view. The device production efficiency and the development investment protection has been considered from the perspective of sufficient technological advancement of the solution. The next step has been to develop a DVB-T Set Top Box in a form of complete product (HW, SW, housing) up to the production documentation.

Solution: Voipac realized the required analysis of the available platforms. We had tested majority of the currently produced DVB-T chipsets and have selected Zoran platform that has been satisfying the required criteria in full. The client accepted the selection thus the second phase of the development - schematics proposal and SW application development could begin. Simultaneously with the HW and SW development, appropriate housing selection has been going on. The prototype testing has been finished successfully and the production is being prepared.
