Voipac launched another COM project to enlarge its Freescale family of 200-pin SODIMM sized Computer On Modules. The new COM is based on i.MX53 1.0GHz Cortex™ A8 Freescale multimedia processor with hardware graphic acceleration, DDR3 memories, dual voltage support (1.8/3.3V VIO), and belongs to the Freescale Longevity Program. It will be available in Q1 2012, together with the compatible and peripheral-rich i.MX25 SODIMM Base Board development environment.
