This cable is necessary for the first time program loading into the FLASH memory of the PXA270/255 DIMM Module, microPC Board and IP Phone Development Kit as well as further on-chip debugging.

Voipac recommends every developer to have one in case a part of the memory data with bootloader becomes corrupted. The cable connects computer LPT port to the 20-pin JTAG on-board header.

The JTAG cable is used together with JflashMM program, built for preloading initial bootloader software, in this case ArmBoot.
