Voipac has finished designing and prototyping of the whole iMX8M Industrial Development Kit! The module features powerful i.MX 8M NXP CPU, DDR4 memories, eMMC Flash and multiple design-intensive peripherals such as WiFi & Bluetooth module + 1Gbps Ethernet PHY + Audio chip soldered directly on the COM. With less than 2/3 of a credit card surface area, 3pcs of robust industrial-grade 100-pin shielded connectors and 30x30mm standardized-pitch highly-effective heatsink with mounting tabs and springs, the module is a perfect choice for conformal-coated industrial solutions and passive-cooled embedded systems.

The development kit is running Linux operating system built on Yocto Project 3.1 supporting all the module and peripheral-rich baseboard interfaces. Moreover, the software integrates multiple ready-to-be-used accessories such as 2x capacitive LCD monitor, 2x camera, CANbus module, or even SATA interface emulated via M.2 key B slot, making the product development much easier.
