This 144-pin DIMM sized Computer On Module is based on the Intel PXA255 XScale® ARM® processor. The module was designed for high-performance while maintaining low power consumption. The COM, together with the core CPU running at 400MHz, creates an ideal option for migrating microcontroller-based products to solutions with operating system.

The PXA255 DIMM Module Pro provides an excellent MIPS/mW ratio enabling usage in battery-operated devices, high CPU performance, DRAM operating memory, solid-state FLASH storage, and plenty of available interfaces.

The module is equipped with AC'97 Audio codec including touch screen capability. The processor itself supports a number of interfaces such as PCMCIA/CF, UARTs, IrDA, SSP, USB client, I2C and displays with maximum resolution of 800x600 pixels.

The COM is available with Linux 2.6 by default or Windows CE 4.2 preinstalled upon request. The beta version of WinCE4.2 BSP is available also for free download at the Downloads section.

The PXA255 DIMM Module is manufactured in two standard versions, however the module configuration can be customized and tailored based on the customer needs with no additional surcharge (MOQ: 10+ pcs).

For batches exceeding 100pcs, Voipac provides free service of the customer's own boot loader preloading prior to the order dispatch.

For outdoor applications, PXA255 DIMM Module is available also in -20°C to +70°C Extended temperature range or in -40°C to +85°C Industrial temperature range.
